It sounds like a contradiction: outdoor air vents that let air through and stop burglars. Yet today they succeeded again!

Our steel external air diffusers, type BV-70/WK2, have passed the various new tests for burglar resistance class WK2 / RC2 with flying colors.Ze zijn opnieuw getest volgens de meest recente versie NEN 5096/EN 1627-1630 norm.

A fresh breeze is blowing again in Weert

The popularity of the Bosuil resulted in more and more visitors, which meant that the old climate control system had to be replaced.

The management of de Bosuil, inspired by our previous installation at 013 in Tilburg, asked us for a comparable system. Together with installation company Kuijpers, we have designed and implemented an efficient ventilation and air distribution system.

Thanks to innovative air distribution plena with angle-adjustable jets and careful commissioning, the stage, hall and platform now have effective ventilation, so that the Bosuil offers a perfectly ventilated environment for employees, artists and audiences.

Leaner production through lean manufacturing

Smitsair has lasted for over a century because we are always looking for innovations that improve our production processes and services. We recently teamed up with Blom Consultancy to implement ‘Lean Manufacturing’ in our production lines. The aim is to serve our customers even better by realising sustainable improvements by minimising losses.
This way, we optimise our production process, which benefits our relations.

An important part of this whole process is enthusing and training our employees. The first study days have been successfully completed and certificates have been handed out. Congratulations!

To achieve the ideal indoor climate, Smitsair-JET Systems can use Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), among other methods.
This digital simulation technology shows how flows, heat transfers and other HVAC-related elements behave in a given indoor space.
This enables our customers to engineer an indoor climate plan with the most optimal air distribution.
